Rich Ancestral Heritage

Our ancestor late Shri Narshi Natha is the pioneer of cotton trade in Mumbai and provided employment to thousands of native villagers in the trade. After consistent draughts in Kutch, Gujarat he came to Mumbai in 1744. He learnt the nuances of cotton grading and trading from the British officers and soon mastered the art. He is the one of the most prominent industrialist, philanthropist, spiritual and dynamic personality that the cotton industry has seen. The British Govt. named a business road in South Mumbai after him in 1911.
